Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 Announced: Entry Level Android With 4-Inch Display, Dual Core Processor, and LTE

amsung has announced the successor to the entry level Galaxy Ace line – Samsung Galaxy Ace 3. The phone sports a 4-inch WVGA   TFT display, 1GB RAM, 5 Megepixel rear shooter and VGA front facing camera. Interestingly, the phone has variants – the one with 1GHz dual core processor that supports 3G only and 1.2GHz dual core processor which supports LTE.

The one with LTE will be a little heavier and a little thicker than the one with 3G variant. Battery of the LTE variant will be bigger at 1,800 mAh as compared with the 3G powered Ace 3 with 1,500 mAh battery. Android 4.2 Jellybean runs the phone.

  • 1,500 mAh battery (3G variant)
  • 1,800 mAh battery (LTE variant)
  • Android 4.2 Jellybean
The LTE variant will be available on select markets only. Dual SIM variant will also be available too. No word yet on pricing and availability.
