Finally! Globe Prepaid LTE Service With Mobile WiFi and Stick Launched! Comes With Free Power Bank

At last, Globe Telecom has finally rolled out their prepaid LTE service with speeds up to 42Mbps. It seems many are waiting for it because #GlobePrepaidLTE has been a trending topic for days last week. The service was launched last Thursday, October 17 and Globe is offering the service with  a mobile WiFi for P4,995 and LTE stick for P3,995. It also comes with a free 3,000 mAh power bank and a free 5GB worth of data for 7 days.

Here’s a big CATCH that might lose your excitement. If Smart is offering UNLIMITED LTE bundles for P50 (1 day), P299 (7 days), and P995 (30 days), Globe is offering MAXSURF, a volume based service that gives you a bulk of megabytes (MB) for surfing, When you used up all your MB allotment, you will be charged P5 for 15 minutes.

When it comes to coverage, Globe’s LTE coverage remains to be limited compared to rival Smart but the good news is there are more areas now covered with Globe’s LTE network.
