Starmobile Engage 8 Quad Unboxing and Initial Impressions

After reviewing Kata’s tablet offering, the Fishtab 3, we would like to compare it to its competing tablet, the Starmobile Engage 8 Quad. The budget Starmobile tablet is only a few hundred bucks cheaper (P6,990) than the Fishtab 3 (P7,690) but enough with the comparison. An article related to that will be posted in the coming days. For now, let’s go on with the unboxing.

This is not the first time that we encountered the tablet. We spotted the Starmobile Engage 8 Quad in the Starmobile kiosk in SM Megamall. Here is our related article – STARMOBILE ENGAGE 8 QUAD SHORT HANDS ON AND INITIAL REVIEW.

First Impressions:

Nothing has changed from our first encounter with it. It is one solid and premium looking tablet with an affordable pricetag. We are just glad to know that Starmobile included a USB OTG (on-the-g0) cable on the package for faster file transfers from your tablet to your flash drive or PC.
